🚨NEWS UPDATE: Electronic Value Manifestation (MVE) – Official Effective Date🚨
The Mexican government has confirmed that the Manifestación de Valor Electrónica (MVE) will become mandatory and fully enforceable starting December 9, 2025.
Beginning on this date, all importers must transmit the MVE electronically through VUCEM before any pedimento can be validated or paid. The previous formats (E2 and E3) will no longer be accepted once the requirement becomes active.

• Effective Date: December 9, 2025
• Required for all import operations entering Mexico
• Must be transmitted before validation and payment of the pedimento
• Must be signed using the importer’s e.firma (FIEL)
• Generates an e-document that must be provided to your customs broker
• Supported documents must be digitized and kept for 5 years
